The State of Idaho provides medical assistance
(Medicaid) to certain disabled children regardless of
parental income.  The purpose of Home Care for
Certain Disabled Children is to help these children
get medical services and live at home rather than in
an institution.  Medicaid pays for many medical
services, including physician's visits, hospitalizations,
prescriptions, developmental therapy programs,
occupational therapy programs, physical and
speech therapy, medical supplies and equipment,
personal care services and many other programs
typically paid for by insurance.

If your child, or you know a child with disabilities that
could be helped by having Medicaid to pay for
services and would like to find out more information
about how to apply please call Nikki at (208)
338-4699 or e-mail her at
